Sebastian Krumbiegel brings KOMPASS to Jena

On February 19, 2027, Sebastian Krumbiegel will perform his new program KOMPASS at Volksbad Jena. The concert originally scheduled for October 30, 2026, has been postponed for production reasons. Tickets already purchased remain valid; additional tickets are available for presale.

Between Piano, Attitude, and Great Stage Energy

Sebastian Krumbiegel combines catchy melodies with pointed lyrics, humor, and a societal perspective. As the singer and frontman of the Prinzen, he shaped German pop history with hits like Millionär, Mein Fahrrad, and Küssen verboten. Solo, he shows a more personal side: as a pianist, entertainer, author, and charismatic stage performer.

KOMPASS: Optimism Without Sugarcoating

At the center of the new program is the album KOMPASS featuring 14 songs. The pieces revolve around political absurdities, Elon Musk's tax declaration, the little prince, the equation 2+2=5, and the question of how to remain hopeful in difficult times. Krumbiegel focuses on positive songs without softening reality.

Live Tested, Newly Arranged, and Played Directly to the Audience

The songs emerged from an intensive creative process: In the past twelve months, Krumbiegel performed nearly 70 shows and wrote just as many songs. He tested the material live, rearranged, discarded ideas, and developed a program with clear musical dramaturgy. His concerts thrive on direct communication, precise piano playing, strong melodies, and an open audience atmosphere.

A Concert Experience with Attitude and Humor

At Volksbad Jena, Krumbiegel's distinctive voice meets the intimate atmosphere of a traditional cultural venue. Between rhythmic synchronization, pointed storytelling, and sonorous piano passages, an evening is created that combines entertainment and reflection. Major themes receive a personal perspective, while humor and musical lightness carry the sound.
