Double exhibition of the TausendTaten e.V. association at the EAB Jena The two exhibitions show everyday situations of people affected by dementia and their relatives, as well as volunteering in the TausendTaten e.V. association in Jena. "Just a Moment – Encountering Dementia" A smile, a shared moment, a piece of lived community: From 22.09.2026 to 24.10.2026, the Ernst-Abbe Library Jena will present a very special double exhibition in cooperation with the Tausend Taten e.V. in its premises. Two worlds, one connection The exhibition addresses two profound human themes that are inextricably intertwined: living with dementia and the strength of volunteering. On aesthetically designed black-and-white photo panels, you will encounter people affected by dementia, as well as committed volunteers who build bridges into everyday life as mentors. Come by, take a moment, and let these images and words affect you. The exhibition invites you to look closely, break down prejudices, and feel how much warmth is generated through voluntary engagement in our city. Admission is free. We look forward to your visit!
