Storytime for little book fans in Lobeda
When children listen eagerly, images form in their minds, and laughter fills the library, reading aloud becomes a special family experience. On Friday, October 16, 2026, the Ernst-Abbe-Library in the local library Lobeda invites children from three years old to a cozy reading hour.
Imagination for listening and marveling
Starting at 4 PM, the world of stories opens up. Children discover new characters, exciting places, and surprising adventures. Listening together enhances attention, language comprehension, and imagination in a child-friendly way.
Age-appropriate and educationally valuable
The offer is aimed at children from three years old and accompanies an important phase of development. Reading aloud expands vocabulary, encourages questioning, and creates a calm learning experience with closeness and fun. Parents and grandparents share valuable time with their children in a protected environment.
Easy for the whole family
The reading hour takes place regularly on Fridays at 4 PM. No pre-registration is required. Admission is free and provides families with low-threshold access to cultural education and reading promotion.
A safe place for curiosity and community
The library offers children a familiar indoor space where they can absorb stories at their own pace. The calm format supports concentration, emotional development, and the joy of books. Adults accompany their children during the family experience.
Conclusion: Dive together into stories
Reading for children in Lobeda connects children's laughter, imagination, and child-friendly language promotion. Families can expect a relaxed half-hour full of wonder, curiosity, and shared time. Those who want to give children the joy of stories will experience a warm and valuable afternoon in the library.
