Storytime for Children: Dive into fantastic stories together
When the pages rustle in the Lobeda community library, a loving family experience filled with children's laughter, wonder, and fun learning begins. On Friday, October 23, 2026, the Ernst-Abbe Library invites children aged three and up to join in storytime.
Stories that spark curiosity
During storytime, images are created in the mind, new questions arise, and small adventures unfold. Children experience language in a child-friendly and age-appropriate way, expand their vocabulary and discover joy in books. The calm atmosphere of the library creates space for concentration, imagination, and shared time with family.
A valuable appointment for development
Regular storytime supports language development, listening, and emotional imagination. The event combines a relaxed learning experience with cultural participation and makes literature accessible even for younger children. Parents and children find a safe space where curiosity and security go hand in hand.
Family-friendly and straightforward
The storytime begins at 4:00 PM and is aimed at children aged three and up. Admission is free, and pre-registration is not necessary. This allows for a spontaneous visit to be integrated into family life.
Conclusion: Time for stories and closeness
Storytime for children in Lobeda offers families a relaxing break filled with imagination, language, and a sense of community. Those who wish to introduce children to the joy of stories will find a free and educational family experience at the city library here.
