Storytime for Children at the Lobeda Neighborhood Library
When stories come to life, a special journey begins for children: On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Ernst-Abbe Library in the Lobeda Neighborhood Library invites you to a collective storytime. Starting at 4 PM, children aged 3 and up will experience a child-friendly learning experience full of imagination, language, and children's laughter.
Stories that Spark Curiosity
During storytime, quiet moments and great images in the mind arise. Children discover new characters, places, and feelings, playfully expanding their vocabulary and developing a love for books. This family experience combines learning with fun and creates a safe space for attention, wonder, and exchange.
Age-Appropriate and No Registration Required
This offer is aimed at children aged 3 and up. Pre-registration is not necessary. Families can participate spontaneously and simply integrate the storytime into their daily routine.
Free Entry to the Library
The event is free of charge. This makes storytime an accessible educational offer for families. In the familiar environment of the neighborhood library, children can discover literature, and parents can enjoy a valuable, shared break.
An Afternoon for Little Book Fans
The Ernst-Abbe Library Jena connects cultural participation, language promotion, and child-friendly education. Storytime supports the development of concentration, imagination, and language comprehension, providing families with a warm moment filled with closeness.
Look forward to a relaxed storytime filled with stories, curiosity, and plenty of space for children's imagination. Come to the Lobeda Neighborhood Library on November 6, 2026, and experience the family event live.
