New Designs, New Favorite Puzzles: Exchange Event at the Ernst-Abbe-Library Jena
Autumn time is puzzle time: On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the Ernst-Abbe-Library Jena invites you to the puzzle exchange for young and old. From 4:00 PM, the workshop of the library will transform into a meeting place for families, children, and everyone who enjoys shared puzzles and new images.
Swap Puzzles instead of Storing Them
Have you already solved all the puzzles at home? At the puzzle exchange, used favorite puzzles find new players. Visitors bring their own puzzles to the library and exchange them for other designs. This creates a sustainable cycle for exciting leisure activities and shared discoveries.
Important for the Exchange
Clear rules apply for a fair and successful puzzle exchange: Only complete puzzles in good condition may be brought. This ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all market visitors, and each new design is ready for the next puzzle evening.
Family-Friendly Holiday Program at the Library
The event takes place during the winter holidays and is aimed at both young and old puzzle fans. Amidst colorful designs, familiar landscapes, and tricky image worlds, a relaxed market atmosphere emerges right in the Ernst-Abbe-Library. The library presents itself as a lively cultural and educational place for families in Jena.
Free Admission in the Heart of Jena
The puzzle exchange begins on October 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the Ernst-Abbe-Library, Engelplatz 2. Admission is free. If you have a complete puzzle in good condition at home, simply bring it along and discover new designs for the next shared puzzle round on-site.
The puzzle exchange combines sustainability, play, and encounters. Come by, bring a well-preserved puzzle, and experience the creative exchange in the workshop of the Ernst-Abbe-Library Jena.
