Using WhatsApp safely and relaxed: Digital Café in the ProbierLaden
How can photos be sent, locations shared, and family groups used confidently? The Digital Café in the ProbierLaden Jena will focus practically on the popular communication app WhatsApp on Friday, October 30, 2026. The open offer is aimed at everyone who wants to take their first steps in the digital world or expand their smartphone skills specifically.
Practical tips for digital everyday life
From 9:00 to 10:30 AM, the topic of WhatsApp takes center stage. Participants will learn how to use the app, send photos to individual contacts or groups, and share their location with family and friends. Understandable examples and relatable explanations make the introduction easy.
Data protection explained understandably
The protection of personal data is also part of the program. The Digital Café explores the data protection aspects of the app and creates space for questions regarding privacy, group communication, and conscious handling of digital services.
Exchange over coffee and tea
After the free introductory lecture, personal exchange begins. Guests can ask their own questions, share experiences, and jointly find solutions for typical situations with their smartphones over coffee and tea. The pleasant event atmosphere combines knowledge transfer with encounters and makes the event experience particularly accessible.
Open offer without registration
The Digital Café takes place regularly on the last Friday of the month in the ProbierLaden. Registration is not required. This makes the event particularly suitable for people who want to participate spontaneously, reduce digital uncertainties, or expand their knowledge at their own pace.
