Understanding, trying out, and discovering the digital
At the PC-Café in the ProbierLaden in Jena, practical help, collaborative learning, and relaxed conversation come together. On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, visitors will receive support with questions regarding PCs, laptops, and digital applications.
Start in the middle of digital everyday life
The open offer is aimed at anyone who wants to use digital devices more safely and independently. The focus is on specific questions from everyday life as well as actively trying out common programs and applications. The event is suitable for beginners as well as for those who have already gained initial experience and want to deepen their knowledge.
Learning with and from each other
The special event atmosphere is created by personal exchange. Instead of a classic frontal teaching, the PC-Café focuses on collaborative learning, understandable explanations, and practical exercises. A basic set of PCs is available in the ProbierLaden. Those who prefer to work on their own device can bring their own laptop.
Coffee, small snacks, and good conversations
In addition to digital trial, chatting is an integral part of the event experience. Over coffee and small snacks, experiences can be shared, solutions discussed, and new ideas for dealing with digital media developed. The atmosphere remains open, friendly, and relatable.
Open offer without registration
The PC-Café is organized as a low-threshold educational and meeting offer. No registration is required. Interested individuals can simply come by, bring their questions, and immediately engage in conversation. The event location is barrier-free.
The PC-Café combines practical support, digital education, and personal encounters. Anyone looking to improve their handling of PCs or laptops and learn from each other in a relaxed atmosphere will experience a helpful and accessible event format in the ProbierLaden.
