Creativity, Community, and Encounter in Lobeda
An afternoon full of colors, ideas, and shared time awaits children, teenagers, and adults at the Ernst-Abbe Library Lobeda. The church away from home invites you to engage in conversation while crafting and experience community in a creative way.
Become Creatively Together
At the crafting table, personal artworks are created in a relaxed atmosphere. The open offer combines creative design with encounters and invites people of all ages to contribute their own ideas and be active together.
An Inviting Meeting Place for Everyone
The event is aimed at children, teenagers, and adults. The focus is on the joy of crafting, mutual inspiration, and a warm togetherness. Families will also find a suitable space for a communal and creative religious experience outside traditional church settings.
Spiritual Community in Daily Life
The church away from home brings faith, encounters, and communal life to a public place. Between books, crafting materials, and personal conversations, an open atmosphere is created where reflection, creativity, and human closeness come together.
Date and Admission
The craft afternoon begins on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 3:30 PM at the Ernst-Abbe Library, District Library Lobeda, in Jena. Admission is free.
