Market View/Sunflower | Opening Hours & Menu

Market View/Sunflower in Gera is a striking address for anyone looking for a current menu, reliable opening hours, and a kitchen with a distinct character in the heart of the city center. The establishment is located at Markt 11 and, according to public reports, only opened in November 2025, making it a fresh addition to the city's gastronomic offerings. Several online entries show that the business appears under slightly varying names, which is why inquiries about opening hours, menu, address, and delivery are particularly frequent. The available menus suggest a mix of Ukrainian-influenced home cooking, soups, salads, and other warm dishes; at the same time, there are also Vietnamese or Asian-inspired food hints on the platforms. This very mix makes Market View/Sunflower interesting for guests who are not just looking for any standard restaurant, but a place with a personal profile, fresh preparation, and a central location. For visitors, this means: Anyone planning a meal at the market should check both the menu and the current opening hours shortly before their visit, as the public information is not identical in every detail across various platforms. ([otz.de](https://www.otz.de/lokales/gera/article410545793/neue-gaststaette-eroeffnet-im-herzen-von-gera-blueht-ein-sonnenbluemchen-auf.html))

Opening Hours of Market View/Sunflower in Gera

When it comes to the opening hours of Market View/Sunflower, a closer look is worthwhile, as the publicly visible information does not fully match across different platforms. A new opening page lists the restaurant as open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with Monday being closed. A Google-derived business entry, on the other hand, shows different times for the same establishment: Monday to Thursday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. Additionally, another restaurant directory lists Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This discrepancy is not unusual in everyday life, especially when a place is still young or entries are maintained on multiple platforms. Practically, this means: Anyone coming from another district, from the surrounding area, or just for a short visit to the city center should check the latest listing right before setting off to avoid surprises. Especially for search queries like “Market View opening hours” or “Sunflower opening hours,” users primarily seek reliable everyday information, and it is better to verify this multiple times here rather than blindly adopting it. ([neueroeffnung.info](https://www.neueroeffnung.info/gera/sonnenbluemchen-gaststaette))

From an SEO and user perspective, this topic block is particularly important because opening hours are often the first reason for a click. Those wanting to dine in the evening want to know if the establishment is still open; those out and about in the city at lunchtime want to know if they can get a late lunch. The available entries suggest that Market View/Sunflower can be relevant for both daytime visits and evenings, but not every day within the same time window. This makes a clear recommendation important: Especially on Mondays and Sundays, as well as during differing holiday or vacation times, one should check the current listing or inquire by phone. This is also where the search intent behind the autocomplete keywords arises: People want to know quickly when they can go, and expect a simple, reliable answer. Therefore, this topic should be prioritized when building a location page, an SEO landing page, or a local guide for Market View/Sunflower. ([neueroeffnung.info](https://www.neueroeffnung.info/gera/sonnenbluemchen-gaststaette))

Menu, Home Cooking, and Ukrainian Cuisine

The menu is the second major search reason surrounding Market View/Sunflower, and here the available sources show a clearly recognizable profile. Lieferando structures the offerings into the areas of soups, salads & appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The menu page features, among other things, borscht with pampushki and homemade noodles with broth, which immediately indicates an Eastern European direction. Additionally, another directory's menu includes nem chay, goi salad chay, dim sim, baked shrimp, and a noodle soup with vegetables. Together, this creates a menu that is consciously not reduced to a standard German menu but has an independent, diverse character. For users searching for “Market View menu,” this is exactly what is interesting: They want to see in advance whether there are light dishes, soups, vegetarian options, or heartier main courses, and whether the establishment offers simple snacks or a full dinner. The online menus show both: quick, clear dishes for an uncomplicated visit and at the same time meals that indicate freshly prepared cuisine with more character. ([lieferando.de](https://www.lieferando.de/speisekarte/marktblicksonnenblumchen))

The designation of the cuisine is also SEO-relevant, as different platforms classify Market View/Sunflower somewhat differently. Lieferando lists the establishment as a partner for Ukrainian home cooking, while another directory categorizes it as Asian and the menu itself visibly features Vietnamese elements. This very mix should not be homogenized or unnecessarily smoothed out on a good location page, but rather explained as a specialty: Market View/Sunflower apparently stands for a cuisine that combines traditional, homemade, and internationally influenced elements. This can be attractive for guests looking for something different from the usual standard dishes in Gera. Particularly search terms like “Ukrainian cuisine Gera,” “home cooking Gera,” or individual dish names like “borscht with pampushki” indicate that users are specifically looking for certain flavor profiles. A good description should therefore not only provide lists but also explain the style: hearty, fresh, varied, and with a clear recognizability. Location at Markt 11, Directions, and Parking

The address of Market View/Sunflower is clear: Markt 11, 07545 Gera. This location is a significant part of the search interest because the restaurant or inn is located directly in the city center, making it just as interesting for visitors from the city center as for guests who want to combine a market stroll, a city tour, or a short lunch appointment with a meal. A directory explicitly describes the location as a central point at the marketplace. For practical travel, the same directory mentions parking spaces 236 meters away at Stadtgraben and Gera-Süd train station 759 meters away. This is important for local search intent because those searching for “Market View address” or “Markt 11 Gera” often want not only to know the street name but also to immediately understand how the visit fits into the city's everyday life. The location speaks for spontaneous visits, short distances, and good accessibility on foot or by public transport. ([lieferando.de](https://www.lieferando.de/speisekarte/marktblicksonnenblumchen))

For planning a visit, the location is also helpful because the marketplace is often a busy area with pedestrian traffic, shops, and other points of interest. This makes Market View/Sunflower particularly interesting for people looking for a café, lunch, or evening stop in the city center. The central address at the market also makes it easier to combine with other errands: One can combine the visit with shopping, an appointment, or a walk and does not have to take a detour to an outer district. At the same time, one should remain realistic when searching for parking and not automatically hope for a direct parking space in front of the door. The available information suggests more of a city center location with short distances to parking options rather than a large private parking lot. This is why the combination of address, parking information, and proximity to the train station is relevant for search engines and real guests alike. So, anyone searching for “Parking Market View Gera” or “Directions Markt 11” will find this location description provides useful orientation for their visit on-site. ([speisekarte.menu](https://speisekarte.menu/restaurants/gera/marktblick-me-oi))

Delivery, Pickup, and Reservation

Another important search focus is the possibility of ordering from Market View/Sunflower. Lieferando lists the restaurant as an active ordering partner and shows both delivery and pickup options. In the German and foreign language Lieferando entries, the establishment is also linked with specific business data, the address Markt 11, and a responsible person. This is relevant for users who do not wish to eat on-site but want to order food for home delivery or pickup on the go. For an SEO page, this is a strong argument because terms like “Delivery Gera,” “Pickup Gera,” or “Lieferando Market View” arise from genuine everyday usage. Additionally, in some Gera Lieferando listings, no minimum order value is indicated, while shipping costs may vary depending on the city area and listing. However, the core of the information remains clear: Market View/Sunflower is not just a place to sit but also an address for orders. ([lieferando.de](https://www.lieferando.de/lieferservice/ukrainisches-essen/gera-07545?utm_source=openai))

Also, regarding further service and functional details, it becomes clear that the establishment aims to be more than just a pure food station. One directory mentions seating, family-friendly, fast service, delivery, and catering; additionally, wine, beer, cocktails, and desserts are listed as available features. This suggests that Market View/Sunflower is suitable for both a quick lunch visit and more relaxed meetings. The possibility of reservation is also mentioned in the directories, which can be particularly helpful on days with higher demand. For larger groups, families, or visitors with a schedule, this combination is important: One wants to know not only what is available but also how flexible one can order, reserve, or take something with them. This practical aspect is therefore one of the most relevant SEO topics surrounding the location because it directly answers user questions. If someone searches for “Market View delivery,” “Market View pickup,” or “Catering Gera,” this layer of information is crucial. ([speisekarte.menu](https://speisekarte.menu/restaurants/gera/marktblick-me-oi))

Atmosphere, Service, and What Guests Appreciate

The public reviews overall paint a very positive picture of Market View/Sunflower. On speisekarte.menu, the establishment is described as friendly, cozy, and family-oriented; it is stated that many dishes are freshly prepared and the atmosphere feels inviting. The same reviews also emphasize that the establishment does not feel like a standard 08/15 address but rather personal and characterful. This fits well with an inn that not only relies on passing trade in the city center but defines itself through recognition, small peculiarities, and a clear food identity. Particularly relevant for perception are terms like cozy, family-run, attentive, and fresh, as they convey exactly what many people are looking for in local food searches. Users who ask for a quiet, well-kept, and simultaneously uncomplicated address often pay attention to these soft factors almost as much as to the menu itself. Therefore, a good location page should not treat the atmosphere as a mere cliché but present it as a real selection criterion. ([speisekarte.menu](https://speisekarte.menu/restaurants/gera/marktblick-me-oi))

At the same time, differentiated voices are also important because they make the overall picture credible. Some public feedback mentions occasional fluctuations in service or waiting time, while other guests highlight the friendly service, fresh preparation, and portion size. This mix is typical for a young, independent establishment: Much already appears very positive and characterful, but individual processes may still need to settle. For visitors, this is not a disadvantage but rather a realistic hint of what to expect. Those who value personal, lively gastronomy will apparently find a place here that does not feel anonymous. Conversely, those who expect only fast, completely standardized processes should consider the current reviews and the time of their visit. From an SEO perspective, this balance is particularly important because searchers are not only looking for “menu” or “opening hours” but also for “experiences,” “friendly,” and “cozy.” This is why the section on atmosphere and service is one of the strongest topics in every local content structure for Market View/Sunflower. ([speisekarte.menu](https://speisekarte.menu/restaurants/gera/marktblick-me-oi))

Why Market View/Sunflower is Relevant for Searches for Menu and Opening Hours

The search queries surrounding Market View/Sunflower show a very clear pattern: People want to quickly know when the establishment is open, what is on the menu, where it is located, and whether they can also order. This is exactly what makes the location suitable, as it serves multiple strong search intents simultaneously. First, the name is unusual enough to be recognized immediately but also variable enough that it appears on different platforms with slightly differing designations. Second, the restaurant is located at an address that is obvious for city center visits, thus appealing not only to locals but also to passersby. Third, the menu offers enough uniqueness to not be considered interchangeable: Borscht, homemade noodles, spring rolls, and other fresh dishes make the page content interesting. When all this is combined, a strong local landing page emerges that provides something useful for both search engines and real visitors. This is the point where SEO does not feel artificial but actually creates orientation. ([neueroeffnung.info](https://www.neueroeffnung.info/gera/sonnenbluemchen-gaststaette))

For visitors, the most important recommendation is simple: Before heading to the address at Markt 11, briefly check the current opening hours and, if possible, also take a look at the latest menu. The existing public entries already provide a useful basis but also show that times and representations can differ across different platforms. Those who take this into account plan more relaxed and avoid unnecessary trips. Those searching will find Market View/Sunflower to be an establishment that appears central, individual, and culinary independent. This is why the core terms opening hours, menu, address, delivery, and home cooking are not just SEO words but real user questions. A good location page should answer these questions in this order so that a simple search can quickly turn into a real visit. Very tasty. There were three of us, so we were able to try a lot of things. You have to like garlic. The cake isn't too sweet. The coffee is good. The cranberry tea is made from fresh berries. We took some cake to go. It was fun because everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Inside it's nice and cozy. No photos, we were far too busy.

Delicious food at great prices! The portions are a bit small compared to other restaurants, but perfectly adequate, and at that price, you can easily order several items if you're really hungry. The staff is attentive and friendly.

I rarely write reviews. My main evaluation criteria are: - food quality (taste, freshness, spice balance, naturalness of products). - temperature of dishes and correct serving. - staff. - cleanliness. - coziness. So, we were at Sonnenblümchen today and were pleasantly surprised and satisfied 👍🏻 We tasted the first, second courses and dessert - everything is fresh, homemade and really tasty. No hints of powdered puree or microwave hum, as happens in other establishments - here they cook honestly and qualitatively. The service deserves special thanks - the staff is polite, attentive and very friendly. Here you feel like a guest, not just another number in the queue. The service is fast, without delays, everything works smoothly. The place is clean and tidy, from the tables to the bathrooms, and it creates a nice feeling of care and order - it's clear that they care about their guests. The prices are more than justified by the quality and portions. We also bought frozen meals to take home to continue this pleasure after our visit. We definitely recommend it and will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
